Main activities

• Analysis of the needs of the main stakeholders (Scientists, Agencies, Industries, Citizens,…) for an effective scientific valorisation and exploitation of actual ISS science data and for future space exploration missions also with the objective to involve new users not included yet in the ISS exploitation program.
   
• Survey of the existing resources available for integration and technological solutions.
   
• Developement of applications (services) to archive, access, integrate and analyse space data from different sources according to the user needs analysis.
   
• Design and implementation of a distributed environment (Middleware platform) for knowledge sharing and cooperation improvement.
   
• Definition and implementation of a demonstrator of the upgraded capability of the network also in support of actions for the dissemination of space culture for educational purposes and public outreach.
   
• Dissemination program based on publications of scientific papers and divulgative articles, press conferences, scientific congresses and events, preparation of University courses.
